Secondary School Credit Hospitality & Tourism Teacher Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education Centre All Hospitality and Tourism credit courses follow Ministry of Education guidelines and are accepted as credits towards an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). The Hospitality and Tourism Teacher will report to the Principal of St.

Louis Adult

Learning and Continuing Education Centres.

Hospitality & Tourism: Cooking & Pastry: Culinary Arts & Prep: TFN3C, TFN4C, TFE3E, TFE4E, TFR3C, TFR4C Develop lesson plans and deliver curriculum to students in a classroom and kitchen setting Develop course materials and curriculum content and ensure proper planning and follow up for the academic progress of all students Assist in the delivery of the co-operative education component of the culinary program to prepare students for placements in the community Administrative duties such as laundry and shopping A current Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification. If not qualified candidates apply, we will consider an uncertified teacher Senior teaching qualifications in the subject area (Technological studies- Hospitality Services) Desirable Assets: Previous experience in the food industry Have previous teaching experience A Red Seal Certificate or equivalent is an asset Up to 5 hours per week may be added for administrative duties.

Teaching Format: Compressed Schedule (each class is 3 hours per day) Rate:
