Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
- Manage reservation bookings efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times and reservation options
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to communicate guest needs and seating availability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold a welcoming ambiance
- Handle guest inquiries politely, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Support the overall guest experience by providing friendly, attentive service from arrival to departure

Experience





- Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including POS systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in customer service roles that require patience, professionalism, and clear verbal communication
- Hotel or restaurant experience can be advantageous for understanding hospitality standards
- Basic knowledge of food service etiquette and serving practices is beneficial
- Ability to maintain composure during busy periods while delivering exceptional guest interactions
