CBC North is looking for an experienced Host for The Weekender, our weekend morning radio program broadcasting to audiences in the Northwest Territories and Yukon.

Reporting to the Managing Editor, the Host is responsible for finding, researching, preparing and presenting interviews, packaged items and weather as well as operating and directing for the program. You may also be asked to contribute to our other English-language radio programs: Post secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent years of experience. Minimum three years experience in daily broadcast production in News and Current Affairs. public speaking, and skill at ad-libbing.

Strong writing skills.
