Housekeeping Aide Housekeeping Aide Temporary Part time ( up to 6 months with possibility of extension) Environmental Services Hours: 0900-1700/1500-2300/2300-0700/0700-1500 weekdays and weekends (may include holidays) (subject to change based on operational needs) Responsible for maintaining assigned patient or non/patient care area of the Hospital in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with established cleaning protocols and infection control guidelines. Responsible for cleaning project work, garbage collection, furniture moving and room set-up as required. to perform basic arithmetic calculations to determine appropriate proportions for mixing cleaning products and solutions; and the ability to prepare routine written reports normally acquired through the completion of a secondary school graduation diploma and a minimum of 1 (one) year experience or equivalent.



Preference will be given to those individuals who have had related cleaning/housekeeping experience and have successfully worked as a member of a workplace team.

Ability to operate and use cleaning equipment such as Autoscrubber, scrubber, vacuum, floor polishers, steam cleaner. Work requires demonstrated time management and organizational skills to complete assigned tasks and carry out work routines with limited direct supervision. Work requires knowledge of cleaning products, methods and techniques, Responsible for furniture moving, room set up if required, and the collection of garbage, waste and soiled linen Participate in cycle cleaning project work such as window washing, floor stripping, etc.
