Human Resources Coordinator Community Living

Dufferin (CLD) is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This is an opportunity to play an important role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace while helping employees and managers navigate their HR needs. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will support a broad range of HR activities, with a solid focus on Health & Safety, policy implementation, HRIS, recruitment, onboarding, and employee support.

Support the implementation and communication of HR and Health & Safety policies and procedures. Promote a strong culture of workplace safety, wellbeing, inclusion,



and respect. Track workplace injuries and incidents, support investigations, and coordinate WSIB claims.

Support recruitment, interviews, reference checks, onboarding, and employee transitions. Coordinate and track mandatory training and certifications. Support managers and employees with HR questions, policies, documentation, and workplace concerns.

Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation as required.

Experience in Human Resources and/or Health & Safety. The ability to turn policies and procedures into positive, practical workplace practices.
