Responsibilities
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring safety and enjoyment during mealtimes.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Engage clients through teaching activities that promote learning, social interaction, and skill development.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to foster positive relationships and enhance overall well-being.
- Adapt care approaches based on each client’s unique needs, preferences, and abilities, including experience working with individuals with disabilities or children.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any concerns or changes in the client’s condition promptly to supervisors.
- Provide attentive caregiving to clients by assisting with daily routines, including personal hygiene, mobility support, and medication reminders
Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving roles or working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Must be able to work in Canada today and have proper visa and status in place.
- Strong skills in cooking and meal preparation to meet diverse dietary requirements.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for teaching new skills and supporting clients’ independence.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Valid background checks and relevant certifications as required by local regulations.
