In this full-time teaching role under the Ta na wa Ns7éyx̱nitm ta Snew̓iyelh Language Department, you will provide expert instruction in Squamish language, culture, and traditions to learners of all ages.

Collaboration with community members and Elders is crucial in creating engaging lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding, helping to connect individuals with their heritage. Deliver immersive Squamish language lessons full-time

- Coordinate educational field trips and activities
- Work alongside community partners on revitalization projects Bachelor’s Degree in Education preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in teaching
- Robust proficiency in the Squamish language
- Knowledge of local culture and traditions
- Support the next generation’s connection to Squamish culture and inspire community pride through education.
