Vernon, BC, Canada – Field-Based Role with Extensive Travel Industrial Audiometric Technician - Temporary Full-Time - 4 Moth Contract Connect Hearing’s Workplace Industrial Division is seeking an Industrial Audiometric Technician to join our team in a full-time, temporary position. The end date may be adjusted based on the employee’s return to work, and employment will conclude at the end of the fixed-term contract unless extended based on operational requirements. The successful candidate must reside in Vernon, Armstrong, Enderby, or Salmon Arm, BC, with convenient access to our Vernon office and yard.

No previous occupational hearing testing experience is required, as comprehensive training is provided through BCIT and Connect Hearing. Candidates who already hold a current Industrial Audiometric Technician certification through BCIT may be eligible for an early start date. Conduct on-site occupational hearing tests in accordance with WorkSafeBC regulations Perform respirator fit testing Complete accurate daily, weekly,



and monthly reports using Microsoft Office 365 and mobile applications Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Connect Hearing at client worksites Travel extensively throughout British Columbia to support client needs Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail while working in the field No previous occupational hearing testing experience required; training will be provided Comfortable with extensive business travel and overnight stays Strong customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding client expectations Tech-savvy and confident using laptops, Microsoft Office 365, mobile apps, and other technology Honest, trustworthy, punctual, dependable, flexible, and adaptable Travel This role involves extensive travel throughout British Columbia.

Training

Comprehensive training is provided through BCIT and Connect Hearing. Candidates with current Industrial Audiometric Technician certification through BCIT may be eligible for an earlier start date.
