Read on, you may have found your new home… We’re looking for a Certified Red Seal Millwright to join our cutting-edge lumber mill located near Vernon, British Columbia.

Today, at Lavington, we safely and sustainably produce 238 million board feet of lumber per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Certified

Millwright with valid Interprovincial Red Seal Certification . Ability to work independently with little supervision. Organizational and planning skills.

Experience with CMMS systems and JD Edwards are considered assets. Previous experience in a forest products environment considered an asset. We value diversity at Tolko and know that experience and knowledge comes in many forms.

Work with a high-performance team dedicated to maintaining all mill machinery including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings and hydraulic systems involved in the manufacturing process. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance . Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set-up, and repair of equipment and machinery; Troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose,



lubricate, and perform maintenance work on machinery; Find safe, creative ways to boost equipment reliability and streamline our processes.
