Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Mechanic or Millwright to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, modifying, and maintaining machinery and equipment across our production facility. Your expertise in mechanical systems, electrical components, and industrial maintenance will ensure our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role in a small maintenance team where you will have the opportunity to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, thinking through problems, and taking ownership of repairs from diagnosis through completion.

Duties

- Install, align, assemble, and adjust machinery and equipment according to schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, performance issues, and complex mechanical or electrical problems.
- Repair or replace mechanical and electrical components such as belts, gears, motors, pumps, valves, sensors, and controls.
- Operate welding equipment to repair modify or fabricate parts as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Requirements





- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance within the food processing industry.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of conveyors, pneumatics, general industrial electrical components
- Ability to operate tools such as, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
- Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues quickly and effectively
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Effective communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and vendors
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance issues in a production setting.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts and occasional weekends

Nice to Have (Assets)

- Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification
- CWB or equivalent welding/fabrication experience.
- Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Familiarity with natural gas burners, HVAC, or boiler systems.
- Active Forklift Certification.

Pay: $30.00-$48.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
