Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, industrial painting, equipment maintenance, and finishing work while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety.

Responsibilities

- Select and mix coating paints to required specifications and prepare spray equipment, including cleaning and adjusting spray guns.
- Read and interpret technical documents, paint mixing procedures, drawings, and specifications.
- Utilize efficient industrial painting techniques while maintaining required paint thickness, quality standards, and productivity targets.
- Clean and prepare surfaces for painting and finishing.
- Maintain painting equipment, spray systems, and paint mixing areas.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain proper respirator care, operation, and air supply systems when required.
- Complete general labour duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of industrial painting experience.
- Experience using airless spray equipment.
- Experience applying epoxy and urethane coating systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to comply with all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
- Sandblasting experience is considered an asset.
