Intermediate 2D Animator As an Intermediate 2D Character Animator, you will play a key role in bringing characters to life with high-quality animation that adheres to the show's style and standards. Create high-quality 2D character animation that meets the production’s quality and output requirements. ~ Address series-wide animation notes and implement them as needed.



~ Identify and communicate larger issues in assets, rigs, or animation processes to Leads or Supervisors. ~ Have a strong understanding of the pipeline and related software and contribute to optimizing the team’s workflows for improved efficiency and productivity.

Proven experience in 2D character animation, preferably within an animation studio or episodic production workplace. Strong understanding of 2D animation principles, including timing, spacing, posing, acting, and character performance. Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony or other industry-standard 2D animation software.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply creative direction and series-wide animation notes. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and communicate issues with assets, rigs, or animation workflows. Valuable understanding of 2D animation pipelines and production workflows.

Ability to work collaboratively with Animators, Leads, Supervisors, and other departments. Ability to work efficiently and independently while maintaining a high standard of quality. The wage range for this role reflects compensation across all of ICON’s projects.
