As a member of CIBC Wood Gundy, you will be responsible for building and growing Wood Gundy client portfolios through dedicated relationship management, trusted investment advice and exceptional client service. As an Investment Advisor you will use the tools provided by CIBC Wood Gundy to research investment products, allowing them to make investment recommendations to prospects and clients.
You will apply extensive in-depth knowledge and skills to deliver trusted investment advice by focusing on personalized solutions that achieve the client’s financial goals, applying an understanding of their current financial situation, risk profile, time horizon and other personal change factors.
Investment
Advisors are expected to build and maintain their own portfolio of high-net-worth clients through various prospecting methods, i.e., telemarketing, networking, seminars, trade shows and various other sales and marketing tools/methods. You will have ownership of processes and milestones, connecting people and networks, drawing on the Bank’s broader team and supporting our community. Using extensive knowledge of investment products and services, prospect and identify individual client needs and opportunities.
Relationship
Building –Display high levels of interpersonal and relationship building skills in order to effectively network, prospect and build strong, positive and trusting client relationships. Developed writing skills to prepare proposals and presentation/seminar material. Investing – Develop investment plans and written proposals for prospects and clients.
You have current accreditation and good standing as a Registered Representative (RR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID). You give meaning to data.
