You receive top industry wages $23.88 - $25.33/hr (rate effective April 1, 2024) and Living Allowance (LEAP) allocation of $530.04/month for a part-time employee and $883.42/month for a full-time employee (paid to the terms in the Collective Bargaining Agreement) You receive paid training $21.13/hr What do Pre-Board Screening Officers do?

You will use your strong customer service skills to uphold the safety of passengers and create a positive travel experience by: efficiently screening passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints scanning/testing baggage for prohibited items usings X-ray machines, metal detectors and other technology You have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) You are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada You are able to obtain a Transport Security Clearance and have a no unpardoned criminal record You have fluency in English (verbal and written). Fluency in French is considered a strong asset - preference is given to Bilingual Candidates You are able to comply with the CATSA medical requirements You have demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one year You are available to work any shift as required by the airport operation. This will include early morning, day, late evening,



nights, weekends and statutory holidays When you apply to this selection process, you are applying an inventory for current/future vacancies.

The creation of multiple profiles and/or applying for the Pre-Board Screening Officer role more than once in a 6-month period will result in automatic disqualification.
