THM Technical Services is hiring journeyperson and apprentice pipefitters and ironworkers for local shop work. We’re looking for dependable tradespeople who take pride in safe work, quality workmanship, and working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Depending on your trade and experience, your work may include:
- Piping fabrication and fit-up
- Threaded piping assembly
- Hydrostatic testing and associated preparation
- Quality checks and supporting documentation
- Structural steel layout, fitting, and assembly
- Reading and working from drawings and fabrication instructions
Apprentices will work under the guidance of experienced journeypersons, with duties suited to their apprenticeship level.
Requirements
- Journeyperson certification or active registration as a Steamfitter-Pipefitter or Ironworker apprentice
- Residence in the Edmonton area and reliable transportation to the shop
- A robust commitment to safety and quality
- The ability to follow instructions, work with others, and maintain an organized work area
