Junior Parts/Service Advisor

North Hill Mazda | Calgary, AB | $40,000 - $45,000 Annually

As a Junior Parts/Service Advisor at North Hill Mazda, you are the primary point of contact between customers and the service/parts department, responsible for communicating recommended parts, repairs, and ensuring a smooth, transparent experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and assess vehicle service needs
- Write up repair orders with accurate, detailed descriptions of work requested
- Communicate with technicians to determine necessary repairs, parts, and timelines
- Present estimates and obtain customer authorization before work begins
- Upsell additional maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer recommendations and vehicle inspection results
- Keep customers updated on service status and any changes to cost or timeline
- Review completed work with customers and process final invoicing
- Maintain CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores through follow-up calls and issue resolution
- Manage a daily schedule to meet shop capacity and technician availability




- Maintain accurate records in the dealership's service management system

Qualifications

- Previous automotive experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge sufficient to explain repairs to customers
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) an asset
