As our Junior Weld Engineer – Process Improvement & Development you will assist welding operations by supporting the development, refinement, and optimization of welding procedures, documentation, workflows, and welding-related continuous improvement initiatives. Focus is placed on evaluating welding processes, supporting welder qualification documentation, and contributing to lean-driven improvements Your Day to Day as our Junior Weld Engineer – Process Improvement & Development Welding Documentation & Development Support identification of welding-related resources, tooling, equipment,



consumables, and QA requirements.

Process

Improvement & Lean Application Participate in welding process flow analysis, bottleneck identification, cycle-time reduction, and value stream activities. Support KPI tracking and improvement trending within welding operations. Assist in reviewing and resolving welding-related non-conformances under supervision.

Aid in designing welding tooling and fixtures, including basic strength checks or FEA support as trained. Assist in equipment procurement and maintenance tracking for welding assets. Training & Shop Support Provide training on welding processes you become familiar with.

Help promote lean culture through coaching and CI participation. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. New graduates or up to 2 years experience. Understanding of welding fundamentals, drafting/CAD, and basic engineering calculations.
