Bring your HR expertise to Kelowna Women's Shelter as a People & Culture Advisor. This role emphasizes relationship-building and problem-solving to create an inclusive workplace. We seek a cooperative HR professional to enhance our People & Culture initiatives. Supporting a range of programs, you will report directly to the Director and contribute to organizational effectiveness.

Your role will focus on fostering engagement, inclusion, and positive employee experiences through strong partnerships. Key Responsibilities:

- Support organizational culture and change initiatives
- Guide People & Culture policies and programs
- Assist with employee and labour relations issues
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts
- Maintain People & Culture records and data governance

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in Human Resources or similar field
- 3-5 years HR experience, preferably in a unionized setting
- Knowledge of employment and privacy legislation
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and HRIS platforms
