Caframo Lab Solutions (CLS) is seeking a commercially driven Key Account & Business Development Manager to grow our business with key distribution partners and uncover new opportunities in the industries we serve. This is a hands-on sales role for someone with a scientific background who builds strong, trusted relationships, knows how to grow revenue within existing accounts, and has the curiosity and drive to find and qualify markets we have not yet fully tapped.
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will own CLS's relationships with our key distributors, primarily in the US, serving pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemical, and other laboratory and production environments. You will build account growth plans with those partners, create demand with the scientists and technical buyers they serve, and lead the vetting of new industry and market opportunities, turning promising leads into real business. You will be measured on revenue growth in your key accounts and current business won.
This role is on-site/hybrid.

Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management
- Own CLS's key distributor relationships, primarily in the US,
with full responsibility for revenue, margin, and growth in those accounts.
- Build and execute annual account plans with each key partner.
- Negotiate pricing, rebate, and promotional programs.
- Lead regular business reviews that drive performance and growth.
Business Development & Market Vetting
- Identify, research, and qualify new industry and market opportunities, with a focus on pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemical, and related laboratory and production applications.
- Build the business case for promising opportunities and turn them into new revenue.
- Work with distributors to reach and win new end users.
- Track competitive activity and market trends in target industries.
Technical Sales
- Engage directly with scientists, lab managers, and technical buyers to understand their mixing and stirring applications.
- Partner with Engineering to scope application-specific and custom solutions that win business.
- Work with Technical Marketing on inbound technical inquiries, taking qualified opportunities through to quote and distributor hand-off.
Sales Performance
- Drive revenue growth and channel profitability.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in CRM.
- Monitor sales performance, margins, and growth targets.
- Represent CLS at key industry events, focused on customer and distributor meetings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service.
- Share customer insights and market intelligence to shape products and programs.
- Support product launches and commercialization.
Education & Experience
- University degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field is strongly preferred or a degree in Business or Commerce combined with significant hands-on experience in laboratory or scientific sales.
- Laboratory experience,
or experience selling into pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemical, or life science labs, is a strong asset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, key account management, or business development.
- Proven success growing revenue with distributors or indirect sales channels.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing forecasts.

- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Curiosity and discipline in vetting new markets, separating real opportunities from noise.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Willingness to travel, primarily within the US.
