If you’re mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about fire safety, we want to hear from you. As a Kitchen Suppression Technician, your key responsibilities will include: Inspecting, testing, and maintaining pre-engineered commercial kitchen suppression systems in accordance with NFPA 17A and manufacturer guidelines.

Verifying proper system function, conducting discharge tests, and replacing or servicing components as required. Completing inspection documentation using mobile software and submitting reports in a timely and professional manner.



Coordinating with kitchen staff or site contacts to minimize disruption during inspections.

Reading and interpreting engineered drawings, technical manuals, and schematics. Previous work with commercial kitchen suppression systems (e.g., Experience in the fire protection or mechanical service industries. Willingness to complete (or prior completion of) a certified Kitchen Suppression Technician course or manufacturer training.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely in confined and commercial kitchen spaces.

Valid

Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract. Solid communication and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and inspection/reporting software.
