Pinchin is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join our Asbestos Lab team in Mississauga, ON.
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, this is a backfill opportunity for a well-established position, ready for you to make an immediate impact. In this position, you’ll play a vital role in delivering accurate laboratory analysis that supports safer environments and healthier communities. By maintaining the highest standards of quality, you’ll contribute to projects that make a real difference while advancing your own expertise and growth opportunities.
Perform analysis of building materials and insulation samples for asbestos content by Polarized Light Microscopy Entering data and preparing reports Quality control of samples from both internal and external sources You’re motivated by precision and integrity in every test you perform. Strong background in laboratory procedures and/or microscopy Knowledge of Polarized Light Microscopy and Optical Mineralogy will be considered as asset Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) will be considered an asset We offer competitive salaries and great benefits.
