Position Summary
Under the direction of the Production Manager and Production Supervisors carries out various tasks in regards to production needs.
Responsibilities: Keeps work area neat, clean, organized, and free of debris
Secure and responsible operation of company equipment such as Lumber line, packaging tools, etc.
Performs the work safely according to applicable codes, standards and to Stella-Jones health and safety program
Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent
0 to 1 years of related experience Core Competencies: Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to lift lumber, twisting, turning, bending and standing for extended periods
Good hand to eye coordinator
Attention to detail
Knowledge of lumber dimensions, an asset
Ability to perform the tasks without causing damage to product or equipment
Basic math skills
