Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Land Owner Sales Representative to lead the development and execution of land acquisition strategies for a substantial 655-acre project. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with landowners, negotiate favorable agreements, and contribute to the successful planning and development of a major land initiative. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen understanding of land sales processes, and experience working within construction or civil development environments.
Your energy and motivation will drive project success from initial outreach through closing deals, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships with landowners. Regional political knowledge and experience a plus.
Duties
- Identify and establish relationships with landowners within the project area to generate interest in land sale opportunities
- Conduct detailed site assessments, including blueprint reading and schematic analysis, to evaluate land potential and constraints
- Negotiate terms, prices, and agreements with landowners to secure optimal deals aligned with project goals
- Collaborate with project management teams utilizing construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6 to coordinate land acquisition timelines
- Maintain comprehensive records of negotiations, agreements, and communications using construction estimating tools and HeavyBid software
- Develop and deliver presentations to landowners explaining project benefits and addressing concerns transparently
- Manage the entire sales process efficiently through time management skills, ensuring timely follow-up and closing of deals
Requirements
- Proven experience in land sales, real estate negotiations, or related fields within construction or civil development projects
- Strong understanding of schematics, blueprint reading, and civil design concepts such as Civil 3D or similar drafting tools
- Familiarity with construction estimating software, Primavera P6 scheduling tools, HeavyBid estimating programs, and construction management platforms like ProCore or Bluebeam
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate project benefits and technical details to diverse audiences
- Ability to read schematics and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Demonstrated project management skills with a focus on organization, prioritization, and multitasking in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of heavy civil construction processes and experience working with construction teams is highly desirable

Pay: $33,583.73-$123,690.22 per year
