We are hiring a part-time Delivery Driver to support our growing pickup and delivery laundry service. This role is responsible for safely transporting customer laundry and dry cleaning, maintaining a clean and professional vehicle (our van), and delivering a friendly, reliable customer experience on every stop.

This is a hands-on execution role with consistent weekly shifts and the opportunity for additional hours as the service grows. You are often the only in-person interaction customers have with our delivery service, so professionalism, care, and attention to detail matter.

Schedule & Availability

- Part-time employee
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday (must be available for these specific days)
- Hours: Minimum 3 hours per shift (typically 10:00am–1:00pm+, may extend based on route volume)
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Additional hours may become available as service demand increases

Key Responsibilities

- Driving & Route Execution
- Safely operate a company vehicle (Ford E-Transit) for pickup and delivery routes.
- Plan daily routes for efficiency and timeliness.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety standards at all times.
- Maintain clear, accurate records of deliveries and pickups.

Customer Experience

- Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner during pickups and drop-offs.
- Represent the company with care, respect, and confidence.
- Handle light, on-the-spot problem solving when needed, with support always available from the team.

Order Handling & System Updates

- Accurately pick up, transport, and deliver customer laundry.
- Update the company system with order details, notes, or issues while on the road.
- Communicate clearly with the operations team regarding exceptions or concerns.





Vehicle Care & Cleanliness

- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle interior at all times.
- Report vehicle issues, damage, or maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow company policies regarding vehicle use and cleanliness.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence for 3+ years
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Employment offers are conditional upon a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) through the Ottawa Police Service
- The Company will cover the cost of required checks following successful interviews
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs, including stairs
- Comfortable driving a Ford E-Transit (training provided)
- Comfortable using tablets or mobile systems for route and order updates
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong alignment with the Company’s core values
- Fully fluent in English
- French and Spanish languages are an asset.

Safety, Conduct & Appearance

- Company vehicle use only (vehicle is stored at the Company facility)
- Uniform provided by Company
- No smoking or vaping within one hour prior to a shift, or during a shift
- Scent-free expectation: Employees must avoid strong scents (including perfume, cologne, or heavily scented personal products) while on shift, out of respect for customers with sensitivities

Compensation & Growth

- $23 per hour, paid bi-weekly
- This is the first role in a growing delivery fleet, with opportunities for increased hours, expanded responsibilities, and potential advancement as the service scales

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $21.00 per hour
