Position Overview

We are a full-service restoration company looking for ambitious and energetic individuals to join our team as a Lead Carpenter for our Lower Mainland. If you have the ability to work hard, multitask and learn quickly with a positive attitude, then we want to meet you.

As a Finishing Lead Carpenter with drywall and painting skills, you will be responsible for performing detailed finish carpentry work, including but not limited to baseboards, trim, cabinetry, and other finishing elements. You will also be required to handle drywall installation, taping, mudding, and painting tasks to complete projects to a high standard. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform high-quality finishing carpentry tasks, including installation of trim, baseboards, molding, and cabinetry.
- Install drywall, ensuring precise fitting and clean seams.
- Tape, mud, and sand drywall to prepare for painting.
- Prepare and paint surfaces with a focus on quality and finish.
- Ensure that all work is completed to client specifications and within established timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work setting.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members,



and clients to ensure project success.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Finishing Carpenter with skills in drywall installation and painting.
- Experience working in Restoration Industry is an asset
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, drywall finishing, and painting.
- Ability to measure, cut, and install materials accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Own reliable transportation to and from job sites (please note, a company vehicle and gas card are not provided, but gas is included in your wage).
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
- Basic hand tools required; power tools may be provided.

Working Conditions:

- Will often work in dirty and/or wet conditions
- Work is of a physical nature
- Personal Protective Equipment are provided
- Work is full-time. Overtime is required at times.

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour
