With three to five years of institutional cooking experience, you will provide excellent service in a long-term care facility, supporting the needs of elderly and disabled residents. Your supervisory skills will enable effective training and mentorship of new personnel on the team. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and evaluate food production processes
- Assign and monitor tasks for Food Service staff
- Train recent staff on best practices and standards
- Maintain food safety compliance and quality control
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed Requirements:
- Red Seal – Journeyman Cook certification
- 3-5 years of institutional cooking experience
- Food Safety Certificate or equivalent
- Clear Criminal Records Check and tuberculosis screening
