Enhance dairy analysis quality with the University of Guelph as a Lead Instrument Technician. You'll manage and analyze raw milk samples, ensuring compliance and accuracy on the weekend shift.

The Dairy

Analysis laboratory is seeking a candidate to maintain complex analytical instruments and analyze milk composition under strict ISO standards. With a strong focus on QA/QC protocols, your work will help deliver precise and reliable results in a high-volume lab workplace. You will operate automated instruments, conduct qualitative assessments, and train new staff. Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze milk samples for legal compliance and quality
- Operate and calibrate complex analytical instruments
- Perform QA/QC checks and maintain accurate records




- Enter results in LIMS and manage sample shipments
- Train new staff on procedures and equipment use Requirements:
- Two-year Community College program with two years of experience
- Knowledge of dairy analysis methods and QA/QC protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in lab instrumentation
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data management tools Leverage your technical expertise to impact dairy analysis procedures and quality at the University of Guelph.
