Join the Stollery Children's Hospital team as an Assistant Head Nurse on Unit 4C3. This role emphasizes leadership, patient advocacy, and clinical expertise in Pediatric Cardiology and Gastrointestinal inpatient care. As an Assistant Head Nurse, you will collaborate with unit management and lead a dynamic team towards innovative patient care solutions.

Key responsibilities include managing patient assignments and promoting quality care while maintaining efficient patient flow. Your clinical resourcefulness will support nursing staff in delivering protected and comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership in patient care for Pediatric Cardiology and GI
- Support patient flow and manage staff assignments efficiently




- Act as a clinical resource and advocate for nursing staff
- Implement operational priorities and quality patient care standards
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to resolve complex healthcare issues Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
- At least 5 years of Pediatric Cardiology experience
- Current BCLS-HCP certification required
- Leadership training preferred This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in a challenging and rewarding environment.
