Aird & Berlis LLP is looking for a Legal Assistant to support a share of Lawyers in our Indigenous practice group, with a primary focus on Employment and Labour law. This is a good position for you if you are a self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills and a professional attitude.

Assist with editing, formatting, and proof reading of various labour and employment and litigation documentation, letters, and routine correspondence Assisting with travel arrangements,



including booking of accommodation and flights Handle administrative details with respect to accounting, opening and closing files, docketing, billing, etc. Produce the highest quality of work Minimum of five years’ experience as a Legal Assistant in Litigation and Employment law Successful completion of a post-secondary level legal assistant or paralegal program Knowledge of various tribunals, courts and the Rules of Civil Procedure The ability to be flexible to the changing demands of the job Strong technical skills using MS Office and ACL the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal and market equity.
