Our Community

Marlborough Park Preschool serves the learning needs of preschool aged children in Calgary's north-east, and neighbouring communities. We are a small non-profit run by our community association.

Our school operates Monday through Friday, from September to June (with a closure end of December until early January), and work hours are generally 8:30am – 3:00pm. School is closed on statutory holidays.

Applicant Eligibility

We welcome all Level 3 certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) candidates to apply.

Current first aid course and ability to get a police and vulnerable sector check prior to a start is a must.

Experience working with children with disabilities as well as the ability to speak other languages is an asset.

The Candidate

As a communicative and collaborative member of the team and student-centered educator, your teaching practice includes the ability to design and plan learning activities. Further, your practice focuses on individual students interests to inform the design of meaningful and experiential learning opportunities.





Your ability to foster effective professional relationships with student, families, staff and partner organizations is critical. You demonstrate a willingness to engage in activities and support students in the whole school experience.

Included in the Role

Working in a team with your fellow preschool teacher, you will plan and execute lessons, field trips, and an end of year graduation. You will also participate in routine classroom sanitizing, assisted by the parents.Our school is located at 6021 Madigan Drive NE.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
