This position monitors on-going client care and condition to ensure optimum functioning and ensures changes in client status are reported to the Staff Nurse. The LPN’s practice encompasses the application of nursing knowledge, skills and judgement to assess client needs and provide nursing care that is reflective of their level of education and knowledge.

In keeping with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta’s (CLPNA) Professional Practice Standards & Code of Ethics, Carewest’s Frame of Reference, Philosophy of Care, and Carewest policies this position maintains professional and ethical standards at all times.
