Embark on a fulfilling teaching journey with KPDSB as a Full time Long Term Occasional Teacher at Valleyview Public School. Bring your expertise in primary and junior education with special education experience preferred. The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is seeking a dedicated educator to fill this position from September 28, 2026, until the return of the incumbent, but not beyond June 25, 2027.

Applicants should possess an OCT Certificate and be familiar with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis cultures, enhancing the educational experience for diverse communities in Northwestern Ontario. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging lessons in Primary/Junior grades
- Support students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate effectively with staff and administration




- Ensure compliance with the Vulnerable Sector Check requirements
- Foster a supportive learning environment for First Nations and Indigenous students

Requirements:

- OCT Certificate in good standing is mandatory
- Experience working with Indigenous communities
- Proven leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to engage collaboratively with educational partners
- Strong commitment to equity and inclusion in education
