Appointment of Occasional Teachers in Long Term Assignments This assignment shall be filled in accordance with Part A, Article 17.3 of the current OECTA Elementary Collective Agreement, wherein priority placement will be given to unplaced, qualified redundant teacher applicants from the Elementary Teacher bargaining in order of seniority. Transitional Certificate of Qualification and Registration fromthe Ontario College of Teachers; Multi-Session Transitional Certificate of Qualification and Registration from theOntario College of Teachers. the last teaching day before the return date of the absent teacher; by no later than the last teaching day of the current school year.
