Hunter Ford Sales | Lube Technician | Opened on 09/28/2026 | Pay rate: $20-25 per hour Experienced Lube Technician / 2nd or 3rd Year Automotive Apprentice Full-Time | $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience Hunter Ford is looking for an experienced Lube Technician and/or 2nd or 3rd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our Service Department. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Lube Technician looking to take the next step in their automotive career or an apprentice looking to continue building their hands-on experience toward becoming a licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician.

Depending on your experience and apprenticeship level, responsibilities may include: Performing oil and filter changes and routine maintenance services Completing tire rotations, seasonal tire changes and tire repairs Performing basic brake inspections and repairs under appropriate supervision Replacing filters, bulbs,



wiper blades and other maintenance items Performing battery testing and replacement Assisting with vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance Completing basic mechanical repairs appropriate to your experience and apprenticeship level Assisting licensed technicians with diagnostics and more complex repairs Performing multi-point vehicle inspections Identifying maintenance or repair concerns and communicating findings to the Service Department Following dealership procedures and all applicable health and safety requirements Participating in manufacturer, dealership and apprenticeship training as required Previous automotive shop or lube technician experience is preferred ~2nd or 3rd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentices are encouraged to apply ~ Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn ~ Ability to safely operate shop equipment and hand/power tools ~ Ability to work efficiently in a busy dealership environment ~ Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety ~$20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications ~ Full-time position ~ Opportunity to gain hands-on dealership experience ~ Ongoing training and development ~ Opportunity to grow within the dealership ~ Paid birthday off when your birthday falls on a regularly scheduled workday ~ Employee benefits and other dealership programs, where eligible We're looking for someone who wants to continue learning, develop their automotive career, and be part of a dealership where teamwork matters.
