We are looking for a skilled Millwright Journeyperson to join our Extraction Maintenance Execution team at our Baseplant location. You will play a critical role in the support of installing, servicing, and repairing plant equipment safely and efficiently while collaborating with a dynamic team.

A strong safety mindset with proven safe work practices and knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S;) regulations Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment Implement preventative and predictive programs/assignments for mechanical systems Participate in post event analysis and root cause discussions and take part in developing solutions Commit to adhering to guidelines and maintaining technical and preventative records Review and apply a continuous improvement mindset to safe work practices, procedures, and standards Work collaboratively in a flexible team environment, communicating effectively and partnering with maintenance and operations teams to support safe, reliable, and effective plant operations You will work out of our Baseplant site in Fort McMurray, Alberta The shift schedule is a six days on/six days off rotation (three days on, three nights on, six days off; 12-hour shifts) You will be required to perform some heavy lifting, use ladders and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds and towers with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor as well as within confined spaces If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory.
