We are hiring a part-time maintenance technician in providing ongoing general maintenance to our portfolio of managed rental properties throughout the Hamilton/Niagara region.

THE ROLE

Welcome Home manages over 200 units across Hamilton and Niagara and we are in need of a maintenance technician/general handyperson to provide routine and preventative maintenance at various residential rental properties across the region.

Jobs may include drywall repair including patching and painting, light plumbing, general carpentry and home repair, flooring installation, fixture replacement and more.

Applicants must be mature and personable, have a solid work ethic, have effective time management skills and the ability to perform "above and beyond" to get a job done on time and professionally, with minimal supervision.

- Basic handyperson skills and general knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems is preferred.
- Self-Starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and Reliable Vehicle
- Ability and willingness to travel to sites within Hamilton and Niagara
- Have your own tools
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working both indoors and outdoors
