Reports To: Senior Manager, SILCS and Seniors

Supervises: Neurorehabilitation Facilitators

Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Union

Mind Forward Brain Injury Services is dedicated to providing community-based rehabilitation and life-long support to adults affected by acquired brain injury (ABI) across Peel, Halton, and Dufferin regions.Using a comprehensive approach, we work to foster the highest quality of life for our clients, through a team of dedicated staff and experts working alongside the community.

General Accountability:

The Manager directly supports the Senior Manager in overseeing the Client Program Team. This includes program development and evaluation, staff training and supervision, and ensuring the consistent implementation of high-quality client programs. The Manager facilitates client rehabilitation and coordinates with various stakeholders to optimize client care.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work and/or related health/rehabilitation field.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with individuals with acquired brain or other vulnerable groups. Supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, teamwork, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and non-verbal)
- Demonstrable ability to facilitate client rehabilitation
- Flexible, creative, reliable, sensitive, compassionate, non-judgmental attitude
- Strongly self-motivated, directed and initiating, and demonstrable ability to operate independently within a multi-disciplinary team context
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with appropriate insurance

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Read, follow, and ensure the implementation of the correct Policies and Procedures.




- Create an atmosphere where all team members feel secure, trusted and challenged.
- Actively champion Mind Forward's Vision, Mission, Values and strategic goals.
- Actively participate in Mind Forward events and activities.

Program Development and Evaluation:

· Develop, implement, and evaluate client programs in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Clinical team, Senior Manager, and CPO.

· Produce program drafts and ensure alignment with program documentation policies.

· Monitor and evaluate client programming data.

· Identify areas for program improvement and implement solutions.

· Ensure Program Documentation completion metrics always meet or exceed requirements. Conduct quarterly audits (i.e. PIEs, MIEs, SMIEs) to review compliance with documentation standards, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain program quality and regulatory adherence.

· Ensure program documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time, consistently meeting or exceeding Key Performance Metrics (KPIs).

Staff Training and Supervision:

- Train Neurorehabilitation Facilitators on program procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to Neurorehabilitation Facilitators.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of Neurorehabilitation Facilitators, ensuring compliance with client programs and procedures.
- Ensure consistent and quality implementation of rehabilitation-based client program
- Provide a robust and supportive presence for staff teams at the worksite where direct client care and rehabilitation activities occur.
- Safe Management training for staff members and regular review of Safe Management practices and principles with staff teams.
- Oversight of CSTS learning modules for their teams

Communication and Coordination:





- Liaise with professionals and implement recommendations to facilitate access to community services.
- Ensure effective communication with Senior Manager, staff, CPO and stakeholders.
- Advocate for and with the client.

Quality:

- Assume a role in quality initiatives related to client service, team operations, and systems review.
- Maintain and promote safe working practices and a safe working workplace.

Administrative and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and timely client records and documentation.
- Prepare and submit required statistical and administrative information.
- Participate in staff, clinical, and management meetings.

Relations with Team Members

- Criticize constructively (questioning appropriately).
- Seek assistance with decision-making when necessary.
- Communicate openly.
- Participate in the supervision process by identifying career development needs.
- Keep the Program Manager, Senior Leadership team, and staff teams informed.

Additional Requirements:

- Will require evening and/or weekend work.
- On-call phone rotation responsibilities.
- Physically able to perform the necessary duties of the job.
- Safe Management Training.
- Participation in committees as required.
- Transport clients in a vehicle when necessary

Hours of Work:

- Forty hours per week, subject to additional hours and schedule changes dictated by client/staff needs.
- Work flexible hours as dictated by client/staff needs subject to changes in schedule and additional hours worked from time to time.

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
