Our client, located in Mississauga, is hiring a Finance Manager for a permanent position. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will act as a key business partner and the CFO’s right hand across all areas of accounting and finance. This is a standalone, hands-on individual-contributor role with no direct reports.

The successful candidate will enjoy taking ownership, working across multiple priorities and contributing to projects beyond traditional accounting duties. Take ownership of day-to-day accounting and finance activities Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and account reconciliations Support budgeting, forecasting and financial-planning activities Provide financial analysis, variance reporting and recommendations to the CFO Support cash-flow management,



working-capital analysis and financial decision-making Maintain solid internal controls and ensure accurate financial reporting Coordinate audit, tax and regulatory requirements with external advisors Participate in process-improvement, system implementation and other special projects Minimum five years of progressive accounting and finance experience Strong experience with financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Comfortable working independently in a hands-on, standalone role Broad accounting and finance experience rather than a narrowly specialized background Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Collaborative, adaptable and comfortable working directly with senior leadership AI may be used to support certain administrative aspects of our recruitment process.
