In this stimulating role, you will assume responsibility for the plant's manufacturing engineering and process sector. You will play a primarily tactical role aimed at optimizing production systems to meet customer needs. Plan, organize, direct, and control activities related to manufacturing engineering in order to achieve production, quality, and cost objectives Ensure the involvement of your sector during engineering projects Approve the design of tooling, production equipment, methods, or assembly procedures Develop and maintain the documentation required by the manufacturing system Get involved in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities Perform budget tracking and cost control Ensure compliance with environmental standards and related activities Integrate health and safety elements into any manufacturing development project Ensure compliance with OHS laws and regulations, particularly in emergency measure planning,



and contribute to developing a risk-free work workplace Communicate the mission and vision of the manufacturing engineering department to your group and ensure its implementation through daily actions Evaluate your team members and ensure their development and performance Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or another relevant discipline Ten (10) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment Five (5) years of experience in managing a manufacturing engineering team Project management experience Enjoy working with people, knowing how to recognize their contribution to the company's success and providing them with the necessary support to improve their performance In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, Autocad, Inventor, knowledge of an MRP manufacturing system Bilingualism (English/French) Customer-oriented AAA subscribes to the principle of employment equity and encourages women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and members of visible minorities to submit their applications. #
