As a Manager, Privately Held Business Group your responsibilities will include: Analysis and review of corporate and personal income tax returns, complete various engagements including compilations and reviews Contributing to new business development by understanding all Grant Thornton services and by using your credibility in the field Acting as a leader in the business unit, service line,



and firm by actively contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan Being a leader in the firm by actively contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan Supervision and mentoring of an accounting team, including the review of files Leading through the coaching and performance management process of the practice by providing ongoing feedback, conducting timely performance reviews, and delivering training to develop team members Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Manager, Privately Held Business Group? CPA designation is seen as an asset At least 5 years’ experience in public accounting or related industry Strong technical expertise in both accounting and tax Experience with Caseware, Taxprep and QuickBooks is an asset Commitment to quality, excellence and continual professional growth for yourself and for those you manage Strong management skills, especially in areas of scheduling, organizing, supervising and multi-team managing Profit sharing, Flex days, RRSP contributions, Firmwide holiday closure, Wellness benefits, Concierge-like benefits, Work from anywhere in Canada in the summer for 4 weeks, and more!
