YOUR MISSIONThe Manager, Member Engagement is responsible for building strong, meaningful relationships with CADSI members and ensuring they understand, access and realize the value of their membership.

Reporting to the Director, Membership Care, the Manager will lead day-to-day member outreach and engagement, proactively connecting with members to understand their priorities, experiences and needs. The Manager will help members navigate CADSI's programs, services and opportunities while capturing valuable insights that can strengthen the overall member experience.

This highly relationship-focused role will serve as an important connection between CADSI and its members, helping the organization listen, respond and continuously improve the value it provides.

RESPONSIBILITIESMember Outreach & Engagement

- Execute CADSI's proactive member outreach and engagement program.
- Conduct regular one-on-one outreach with members to understand their priorities, needs, experiences and level of engagement.
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with member companies and serve as a consistent point of connection with CADSI.
- Identify members who are disengaged or underutilizing their membership and proactively reconnect them with relevant CADSI opportunities.
- Develop targeted engagement initiatives for priority member segments.
- Travel frequently to engage and build relationships with members, serving as the primary point of contact for outreach and in-person support across the country.

Member Experience & Value

- Help members understand and navigate CADSI's programs, services, events and opportunities.
- Support the onboarding and integration of new members to ensure a strong introduction to CADSI.
- Identify opportunities to increase member participation and utilization of CADSI offerings.
- Respond to member needs and coordinate internally to connect members with the appropriate CADSI team or resource.
- Identify friction points in the member experience and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Member Listening & Insights

- Capture meaningful information and feedback from member interactions and ensure it is appropriately documented.
- Identify recurring themes, needs, concerns and emerging priorities across the membership.
- Provide the Director, Membership Care with regular insights and recommendations based on member conversations.
- Work across CADSI to ensure relevant member intelligence reaches the teams that can act upon it.
- Support member surveys, consultations, roundtables and other listening initiatives as required.

Membership Growth & Retention

- Identify prospective members and membership opportunities arising through industry engagement and member relationships.




- Support initiatives designed to strengthen membership retention and long-term engagement.
- Identify members who may benefit from additional CADSI programs and opportunities and connect them with the appropriate teams.
- Work with Marketing and Membership Care colleagues on targeted membership engagement and outreach campaigns.

Other Duties

- Represent CADSI at events, member activities and industry engagements as required.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required to support CADSI's strategic priorities and organizational objectives.
- Provide surge capacity to the membership team, including processing applications, conduct member interviews, and responding to member inquiries as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS• University degree or college diploma in business, communications, marketing, public relations or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in member engagement, customer success, stakeholder relations, account management, business development or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong professional relationships with customers, members or stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
- Strong customer-service orientation and ability to understand and respond to diverse organizational needs.
- Robust organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities.
- Experience within an association, membership organization or B2B environment is considered an asset.
- Government relations experience, knowledge of Canada's defence and security sector, and bilingualism (English/French) are considered assets.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITSThis is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive compensation package that includes:

- Annual salary of $81,000–$95,000,
