Your skills and experience can shape the future of education and make a real impact in our community.Important Application Deadline NoticePlease note that Workday closes job postings at 11:59pm MST on the day before the posting end date listed above.To ensure your application is received, submit no later than 11:59pm MST the day prior to the posting end date.To be considered, please submit your application through the NAIT Jobs Hub rather than the external career site.Reporting to the Director, Transformation Office, the Manager, Transformation Governance and Program Operations serves as the primary operational resource supporting the Enterprise Operating Model (EOM), including strategic portfolio management (SPM).In the initial build-out phase, this position will oversee the hiring, onboarding and developing of the team including work assignment, performance management, and coaching staff who will be learning a governance function new to the institution.Provides direct supervision and leadership of staff and has the responsibility for assigning work, managing workloads, allocating resources, and directing day-to-day operations* Accountable for the outcomes of the EOM cycles, setting cycle priorities, and providing operational direction* Escalates cycle risks, resolves scheduling or resourcing conflicts and ensures cycle outputs meet stakeholder reporting standards* Collaborates with Portfolio Committee chairs, Deans, AVPs, and executives* Responsible for refining intake standards, backlog management practices and reporting templates in partnership with Transformation Management Office leadersSkills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent time management and organization skills* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders* Working knowledge of portfolio management frameworks, OKR methodology, and governance design principles* Working knowledge of privacy legislation* Robust leadership, creativity, problem-solving and decision-making skillsQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Organizational Management or a related field* 3-5 years’ related experience preferably in a post-secondary environment Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services (WES), International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or the Comparative Education Services (CES). Remuneration:** Refer to salary range noted on this posting, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
