Maintain and organize the tool crib, monitor inventory, and reorder supplies based on shop needs. Cut raw materials for customer jobs using bandsaws. Complete customer deliveries, including safely towing an 18-foot trailer.

Operate a forklift; Keep company fleet vehicles clean and organized, inside and out. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Serve as the shop’s OHS Representative, including completing monthly safety inspections and helping identify and address day-to-day safety risks.

Participate in the Hercules Training Division safety committee. OHS Representative training will be provided after hire. We’re looking for mechanical aptitude and the right attitude—not necessarily a formal trade qualification.

Hands-on mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills. Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and mechanical components.

Valid

Class 3 driver’s license and ability to safely tow an 18-foot trailer. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once trained. Dependability and punctuality, particularly when coordinating customer deliveries.

Previous industrial, mechanical, maintenance, or shop experience. Forklift experience or certification.

This is primarily an in-shop position, with periodic driving for customer deliveries. You’ll work in a hands-on industrial environment that may involve exposure to hydraulic fluids, grease, solvents, machinery, and typical shop hazards. Delivery work may also involve outdoor work in changing weather conditions.

Occasional travel outside the local area may be required, but it is not a regular part of the position.
