Marine Parts & Accessories Sales Associate

GA Checkpoint – Port Coquitlam, BC

GA Checkpoint is looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Parts & Accessories team, with a focus on marine products.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an interest in boats and marine equipment, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous marine experience is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers with marine parts, accessories, and product inquiries
- Help customers identify the correct parts and accessories for their needs
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service
- Process parts and accessory sales accurately
- Look up parts using catalogues and computer systems
- Receive, organize, stock, and merchandise inventory
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock levels
- Prepare and coordinate parts orders for customers and the service department
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department
- Learn and stay current on marine products, accessories, and new product offerings
- Work collaboratively with our sales, service, and parts teams
- Be available to work some Sundays for Trade shows. (About 3-4 in the year)

What We're Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills




- Interest in marine products, boating, parts, or accessories
- Marine industry experience is an asset
- Parts, automotive, powersports, retail, or dealership experience is also an asset
- Comfortable using computers and learning parts lookup/inventory systems
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop strong product knowledge
- Reliable, positive, and professional
- Ability to lift and move parts and merchandise as required
