Marketing Coordinator
Reporting to: Sales & Marketing Manager The Marketing Coordinator is an on-site position at St. Eugene Resort responsible for supporting the execution of year-round marketing strategies, campaigns and promotions across all areas of the Resort, including Hotel, Casino, Golf, Food & Beverage and RV Park. This hands-on role supports brand awareness, revenue generation and guest engagement through digital and traditional advertising, social media, website and email marketing, content creation, promotions, events and Resort communications.
The ideal candidate is a creative and organized marketing professional who enjoys managing multiple projects, collaborating across departments and bringing ideas to life in a quick-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging content and marketing materials across digital and traditional channels, including copywriting, graphic design, photography and video content.
- Execute year-round campaigns, promotions and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Work collaboratively with leaders across Hotel, Casino, Golf, Food & Beverage and RV Park to support departmental marketing and revenue objectives.
- Manage and maintain Resort brand standards and marketing assets, including logos, photography, video and creative materials.
- Support the planning, promotion and execution of Resort promotions, events and activations.
- Manage and update the Resort website, ensuring content, promotions, events and information remain current and accurate.
- Manage Resort social media channels, including content planning, creation, scheduling,
community engagement and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns, including content creation, audience segmentation, scheduling and performance reporting.
- Support digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google, including creative development, campaign coordination and performance monitoring.
- Track and report on marketing performance across website, email, social media and digital campaigns, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and results.
- Coordinate participation in trade shows and community events, including materials, logistics and promotional requirements.
- Manage internal and on-site marketing communications, including digital screens, posters, signage and promotional materials.
- Monitor and respond to online reviews across social, digital and booking platforms in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate donation requests, sponsorships and community involvement initiatives in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Coordinate with external partners including media, advertisers, agencies, printers and promotional product suppliers.
- Participate in Sales & Marketing meetings and contribute ideas and insights to overall marketing and business strategies.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy,
brand consistency and attention to detail across all marketing communications.
- Support an exceptional guest experience through professional, responsive and guest-focused communication.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 1-3 years of marketing, communications or related experience
- Previous experience in the Hospitality and Tourism industry preferred
- Strong commitment to professionalism and guest satisfaction
- Working knowledge of WordPress/Process Wire, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Meta Business Suite and Google Business Profile/Analytics
- Proficiency with social media and digital marketing platforms
- Strong written, verbal and proofreading skills
- Demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to take initiative, multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners
