Oak Valley Health honours the traditional territory of the closest Indigenous communities, the Chippewas (chi-puh-waas) of Georgina Island and the Mississaugas of Scugog Island.Full-time +1 In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of portering duties in various areas of the Hospital, which will include: Transportation of patients and equipment to all areas Transportation of specimens, soiled equipment and Delivery of clean and soiled linen carts Transportation of pharmaceutical meds, supplies and scripts Previous experience in a customer service role Demonstrated valuable attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required. The successful candidates will be required to work primarily 8 hour days, evenings and nights, scheduled alternate weekends and pick up shifts Monday through Sunday.
Weekdays: 0600-1400, 0700-1500, 0800-1600, 0830-1630, 0900-1700, 1100-1900, 1200-2000,1500-2300,1600-2400,2300-0700 Please note that shifts are subject to change based on the operational needs of the department.
