Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach. Cut, trim, grind,
and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer requests and store requirements. Wrap, weigh, label, and price meat products to Co-op standards while maintaining production records.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory is on the shelf; follow First in, first out (FIFO). Maintain accurate records to support inventory management, including completing paperwork for claims, damages, and shortages. Support and follow Food Safe, Asset Protection, and Safety Management regulations, policies, and procedures. previous meat cutting experience and meat cutter trade certification is an asset.
Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision. Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner. Familiar with Food Secure procedures and practices.
Flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
