~ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); technical diploma desired ~1+ year experience as a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic ~ Relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards ~ Follow detailed instructions, work independently and maintain accurate records ~ Willingness to operate any vehicle or equipment necessary to perform job ~ Exert physical effort including pushing, pulling, bending and lifting items up to 100 lbs. ~ Use fine motor coordination with arm, hand, finger and leg dexterity ~ Ability to kneel, crawl and climb Working Conditions: ~ May include exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold and fumes Other advantages to working at GFL: A network of 20,000+ employees across North America Diverse career pathways and internal growth opportunities Increased sustainability of your community, through the Full Circle Project #GFLTalent
