We are hiring a Shop Mechanic. Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Mechanic will maintain and complete repairs on a variety of equipment including vehicles, trailers, chain saws, string trimmers, push mowers, snow blowers, ride-on mowers, snowplows/pushes, sidewalk sweepers and more. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced shop environment.

You are a self-starter who takes initiative, takes pride in producing quality work, and maintains a tidy and organized shop. Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all vehicles, trailers,



and equipment to ensure assets are kept in good working order and that all proper maintenance is undertaken to protect warranty. Analyzes mechanical and operational problems of vehicles, trailers, and equipment through observations, reviewing daily logbooks, and operator feedback.

Maintain paperwork and documentation to ensure record-keeping of all maintenance/repair activities is completed in a timely manner, is accurate, and properly schedules vehicles, trailers, and equipment for ongoing maintenance/repairs. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems and develop preventative maintenance schedules as required. Follows safe work practices and rules, recognizes, and promotes hazard and risk reporting.

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. ~2-5 years of progressive experience in commercial property maintenance and snow removal (or related industry). ~ Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required with a clean Drivers Abstract. ~ Possessing your own tools is an asset but not required. We are flexible with the schedule. Day shift This position is mainly days but from time-to-time require various hours to meet the needs of internal customers and business operations.
