We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer locations. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality service and support.
Duties
- Install and configure equipment at customer sites according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on various systems and machinery.
- Respond promptly to service requests and provide on-site support for repairs.
- Document all service activities, including repairs made and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers regarding service issues.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools and parts necessary for service tasks.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to equipment serviced.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, hydraulic systems, or HVAC systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on-site.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel to customer locations. (min. G)
- Certification in relevant technical fields or equivalent experience is desirable.
